An on-road evaluation looks at vehicle control, scanning, lane position, speed management, traffic awareness, judgment, and other real-world driving behaviors. Depending on the driver’s needs, specialized vehicle controls or adaptations may be considered.
After the assessment, recommendations may include continued driving, additional training followed by reassessment, adaptive equipment, driving restrictions, or discontinuing driving when safety cannot be maintained.
